Let the animals walk and benchmark your system in three different tests (multithreaded, singlethreaded & amp; 4 Threaded) that will test your CPU to the limit, and your score among hundreds of other systems that have been tested.
mode:
Multithreaded will test the efficiency of your CPU to run more than one thread without major lag system. The higher the score you on this one, the more threads of your CPU can handle with a comfortable pace. Multithreaded high score generally means that you can make things faster.
4 Threaded test your CPU's performance in the game, because most games currently running on a 4 threads.
Singlethreaded evaluate how fast the CPU can handle one, special thread processing.
Since Multithreaded is arguably the most important test and most future-proof, has a greater impact on the outcome of the test overall score another individual.
The program uses each instruction set is enabled for 32-bit systems, but unfortunately the instruction set that is active only in 64bit systems is disabled in the benchmark. With our beta tests, we see that the Intel CPU 'Haswell' used a new AVX2 instruction to reach abnormally high values. We will allow 64bit when more programs to support new AVX2 instructions correctly, but for now we think 32bit offer real-world performance measurements are most accurate at this point in time, so that's what we focus on.
You can easily submit your score on the link in the program. Why not show the world that your CPU is at the top of the leaderboard?! It will be updated every week or day.
Additional Notes:
- Black Hole Benchmark is designed to run on Windows XP and newer.
- You must have the .NET framework 2.1 or later installed to run the benchmark.
- System RAM speed and latency can have a small effect on the final score of a PC.
- Benchmark supports up to 34 threads.
