Skip Metro

  With Windows 8, Microsoft is replacing the traditional desktop and Start Menu concept to the full screen 'Start Screen'. Usually when you log in to a computer running Windows 8, this is the first thing you see. Thinix RetroUI ™ allows users to bypass Windows 8 Start screen (Metro UI) and automatically return to the desktop Windows * classic after login. Users can then keep coming back to the Windows 8 Start screen and can run Windows 8 Store (Metro) Apps. RetroUI Pro supports passing the Start screen from a cold-booting, login from a locked computer, automatic login, and logged over Remote Desktop (RDP) connection. With RetroUI Pro is installed, the user sees the classic desktop at login.

Block HotCorners & Charms Bar

  Windows 8 features hidden features, which are accessed by moving your mouse to a corner of the screen. These features make sense for users of tablet PCs, but on desktops and laptops, they may not make sense or be confusing for a long time Windows user. With RetroUI Pro, you can simply check the checkbox in the Settings app and disable Hotcorners and the Charms bar. Even with this feature disabled, RetroUI allows you to fully utilize the Windows 8 desktop running Windows 8 Apps, and use every feature of Windows 8 computer.
