Akrik invade the nest of pirates or ice castle in the sci-fi shooter demo. In Lost Planet, human snow pirates navigate VS (Vital Suits) through hostile ice-covered environments, fighting against the indigenous Akrid creatures for the precious thermal energy is needed to survive. For one such pilot named Wayne, death almost seemed imminent until he was fortunately rescued. However, he can only remember a few fragments of his past including the murder of his father by the monstrous creatures. Yet under the veil of ice, devious plot has been set in motion by NEVEC. What actually happened to Wayne and how will his destiny become intertwined with NEVEC this plan?
This is a version of Lost Planet DirectX 9 single-player demo, which includes two playable missions - attack the Akrid hive, or ice castle pirate attacks.
