SVP allows you to watch any video on your desktop computer using interpolation frame (as available on high-end TVs and projectors). This increases the frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing frames to produce a very smooth, fluid and clear motion.
The technology is quite famous for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it becomes available to users of the free PC using a simple GUI and a few mouse clicks.
SVP provides GPU acceleration and makes it possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time using a mid-range CPU, and virtually all hardware GPU. SVP is not really a video player, but it allows almost all the players to play smooth video. Yes, even in 3D :)
