Amarok is a cross-platform music player free and open source. Although Amarok is part of the KDE project released independently of the release of the KDE Software Compilation cycle center.
Amarok serves many functions besides the basic functions of playing music files. For example, Amarok can be used to organize a library of music into folders according to genre, album, artist, can edit tags attached to most music formats, attach lyrics, album art associations, and automatically "print" to keep the music playing count statistics.
