BankStep 2.1 - Free Download

BankStep 2.1 - Free Download

Software hardware sequencer Bank found in big analog synthesizers, that produce control for the sound but not the sound itself. Instead of analog control voltages BankStep produces MIDI (and can make standard MIDI music files). If not, BankStep functionally emulates a big $ 50,000 bank of hardware sequencers and supporting modules like it might sit on top of a big Moog analog synthesizer - or soft synth, sound card or MIDI module.

The main module is a module BankStep Bank, which is the key sequencer 3 or 4 bank a number of columns to 48. Bank module is a "smart" module, with the ability to set the order of start and end points, and to automatically switch direction when the end point is reversed. No patchchords dangling in BankStep. Instead, the input module (red and blue buttons) connected to the output by selecting them from a popup menu of all the available output. When the input is connected to the output, the input button label connection.

Like the hardware sequencers it emulates, BankStep is modular in concept but not modular in the sense that you create modules as part of the preparation process, as you did with our other software MIDI compose, SoftStep and ArtWonk. While you're free to make your own Layouts module, this should not be part of your preparation process, such as determining the module of hardware modular synthesizer is separate from the use of modules in creating the music. This is less flexible than SoftStep or ArtWonk, but it is often easier to start with; and because you will probably use the same layout over and over again, you become familiar with it.

With BankStep, you are not creating an algorithmic music composition so much like you are creating music with a stack of sequencers, like you do when you have a stack of hardware sequencer. But with BankStep, you can have more of them to work with
