Sid Meier Civilization is a strategy of "4X" -type strategy turn-based video game created by Sid Meier and Bruce Shelley to Microprose in 1991.
Civilization is a single or multiplayer turn-based strategy game. Players take on the role of the ruler of civilization, starting with only one unit of the settlers and the soldiers, and efforts to build an empire in competition with other civilizations 1-11. This game requires quite a lot of micromanagement (although less than one simulation game) .Along with tasks greater than exploration, warfare and diplomacy, the player must make decisions about where to build new cities, which improvements or units to build in each city, the advances in knowledge should be sought (and at what level), and how to turn the land around cities for maximum benefit. From time to time the cities of players can be plagued by barbarians, units without a specific nationality and no leader is named. This threat only comes from unclaimed land or sea, so that from time to time there are fewer and fewer places barbarians will come.
