The new Media Transfer Protocol allows to manage content on any portable device with storage. For example, transferring files from your Android device to a Windows machine.
MTP was first shipped as part of Windows Media Device Manager 10 SDK. This port kit includes complete specifications MTP, updated design documentation, sample source code is updated, the software to implement PC-based simulator MTP, and MTP test equipment.
