This tweaking software adds several new tweaks for the new operating system. With judicious tweaking, it can make your system faster, more stable, private and more secure with just a few mouse clicks.
Ultimate Windows Tweaker is like TweakUI for Windows. While you may be able to access all of these through the Settings app Windows Registry Editor or the Group Policy Editor, Windows Ultimate Tweaker make things easier for you by offering all useful tweaks from a single UI.
Tweak additional system: In this category, you will see some system and additional network tweaks. You can also set UWT to behave the way you want it too. By default, when you apply tweaks and click Apply, UWT4 will automatically restart explorer.exe to apply tweaks. Change its behavior if you wish.
How to use the Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4
This truly portable and does not need to be installed.
Once you download the zip file, extract the contents and move the program folder to the desired location. Pin the executable file to the Start Menu for easy access. Do not separate the contents of the download because it is important that the contents stay in the same folder.
Create a system restore point first. You can use the Create a Restore Point button that UWT offers. We insist you make one, before using Tweaker, so you can come back should you ever need to.
Tweakers is intended for users that what they are doing. We recommend that you do not over-tweak your system at once. It is our experience that many people simply apply all the tweaks on the go, but do not remember the tweak is responsible for some of the changes that they want to withdraw. We recommend that you apply tweaks to only one category each day, to see how your system is performing, before moving on to apply more tweaks.
To apply a tweak, check or uncheck the box as the case may be. Once you have selected one or more tweaks, click the Apply button. Some tweaks may apply instantly. If only the explorer restart is required, your explorer will restart automatically, and tweaks will be applied. If the system restart is required, when you exit the app, you'll be prompted to restart your computer.
